June 2nd, 2010 - I felt as though I was ripped by the doctor for about 2 minutes of consultation and a pack of Lozenges which I can get from the pharmacist for RM1.50. My doctor bill was RM30. Stupid old man!

To be fair to the doctor, we're actually paying for the expertise. But, the ironic of the comics and relevence of the meaning to our daily life makes this one of the best comics I came across.

Keep up the good work :)

Strangely enough, my mother still goes for the same thing each and every time she has a crick somewhere in her bones. The doctor usually ends up telling her to just get some rest and to pick up medication, which my mother rarely ever takes.

Doctor's fees usually come up to RM50 or more. -_-

in a way yes its not cheap especially for kids n babies... specialist will charge higher though.. but comparing go to pharmacy and just bought generic medication, referring to doctor is better.. we pay higher but we are assured... oh btw i'm having company's panel clinic thats why hehe ;p

come on bro, they missed out their chance to get laid during puberty, just for our sake. i'll say it worth every single cents, lolz

Adding on to @CrisisX:

General Practitioners still undergo the same education and experiences as professional doctors and surgeons. Only difference is, they have their own practice. And how does this relate? Simple.

General practitioners have smaller practices than hospital doctors, but they charge almost twice as much.

Higher charges means a bigger house and car.

A bigger house and car means that though they didn't get laid during puberty, they're gonna get laid now. Damn, I just remembered that I hate GPs.

that's cheap!

My case:

Me: Doc, I got sore throat, fever, cough, bla bla.
Doc: Ok, open up your mouth.
Doc doing some checking.
Doc: Hmm, just some infection, nothing much. You may go now.
Me: Huh? That's it?

And he bill me RM 48 for that less than 5 mins consultation.

Nowaday I seldom visit doctor, unless I sick til can't get out of my bed.
